In a shattered world called the Cradle, players take control of mighty champions as they battle to claim the powerful tears of perished gods.

Their goal? To use the godtears to gain immortality…and ultimate power.

Godtear is a hex based tabletop skirmish board game for two players. With its dynamic scenarios and pre-assembled, pre-coloured miniatures, it’s quick to start but hard to master!

In the world of Godtear there are no factions.

Orcs fight alongside Dwarves, Elves ally themselves to the Undead, when it comes to claiming the power of the godtears even the most unlikely alliance can form.

In game terms this means that you don’t need to consult an allies matrix or worry about who can fight alongside who thematically – you can just collect the champions you enjoy the look of or how they play!

Steamforged Games are launching four new champions! Rangosh, Raith’Marid, Rattlebone and Grimgut they’re available to order now from local gaming stores and from their webstore

Only fools believe that the gods are actually crying…

The godtears were formed when the gods’ powers finally faded as their followers deserted them.

Anguish ravaged and shattered each god into a thousand pieces as they died, falling to the world in a hail of destruction.

Centuries later, powerful champions can harness a godtear’s power and grow above normal strength and size. Ultimately, they are seeking to become gods themselves and form new pantheons.

One such champion is Rangosh, Scourge of the Broken Plains who does not suffer fools lightly.

Morrigan is the gelid queen of the undead wastes, her power drawn from the cruelty of winter itself. It is said that, in some ancient epoch of the earth, Morrigan was a benevolent monarch, cultivating her kingdom as a gardener does a flower bed. The plague of undeath changed this forever, stripping her of any trace of humanity. In its place, it left only the cold, unyielding lust for power and, when the essence of the gods rained down upon the earth, Morrigan took her chance…and she gained wicked sick ice powers!

If you want to add Morrigan to your warband she is available from your local game store as part of the Eternal Glade Starter Set.

Growing pains. We all remember them as children, but imagine having to undergo them every time you collect a godtear and become more powerful!

If you want to try out Godtear for yourself you can do so via Tabletopia! Steamforged Games are currently running a community event in which you can win the chance to give a Champion an alternate digital sculpt. Maybe you can help Rhodri by letting him join Halftusk in the ‘no pants’ gang? Maybe not.

Find out all the information on how to get involved here:

The world of Godtear is full of fantastical Champions, and they bring along a motley crew to the battlefield too!

Orcs like Blackjaw are followed by his brethren, whilst Titus is accompanied by his Gloryseeker mercenaries. But, sometimes, the followers aren’t the same race or even species!

Take Keera for example she’s guarded by two dragons, whilst Halftusk is joined by the Froglodytes he has sworn to protect.
